LifeGear Center – Return, Refund & Warranty Policy

This Return, Refund & Warranty Policy applies to all purchases made from LifeGear Center through lifegearcenter.co.za. By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Warranty
In accordance with South African consumer law, products sold by LifeGear Center are covered by a 6-month warranty against manufacturing defects.
This warranty does not cover:
• Misuse or abuse of the product
• Accidental damage
• Improper use or storage
• Unauthorized modifications or repairs
• Normal wear and tear
• Use outside the intended purpose of the product
LifeGear Center reserves the right to inspect and test all returned products before approving a warranty claim.
2. No Returns for Change of Mind
LifeGear Center does not accept returns or refunds for change of mind, incorrect selection, or personal preference.
Customers are responsible for ensuring they select the correct product before completing a purchase.
Returns will only be accepted where required by law, including where:
• The product is defective
• The incorrect item was supplied
• The product has a material defect affecting its functionality
3. Product Description Accuracy
LifeGear Center makes every effort to ensure product descriptions, images, and specifications are accurate.
However, minor variations may occur and will not be considered defects, including:
• Slight color differences caused by lighting or screen displays
• Minor design or manufacturing updates
• Packaging differences
• Small dimensional or weight variations within manufacturing tolerances
A product will only be considered “not as described” if there is a material difference that significantly affects the product’s functionality.
Returns based solely on appearance, color shade, or packaging differences will not qualify as valid claims.
4. Product Image Disclaimer
Product images displayed on the LifeGear Center website are for illustrative purposes only.
Actual products may vary slightly due to manufacturing updates or screen display differences.
Such variations do not qualify as grounds for return or refund unless they affect the product’s functionality.
5. Hygiene & Safety Products
For hygiene and safety reasons, certain items cannot be returned once opened or used, unless defective.
These include but are not limited to:
• Protein shaker bottles
• Water bottles
• Personal hydration products
• Fitness accessories exposed to sweat or bodily contact
6. Delivery Damage or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or incorrect, you must notify LifeGear Center within 48 hours of delivery.
Claims must include:
• Order number
• Photos of the product
• Photos of packaging and shipping label
Failure to report issues within this timeframe may result in the claim being declined.
7. Evidence Requirement for Claims
Customers submitting a return or warranty claim may be required to provide:
• Photographs of the product
• Video evidence of the defect
• Images of packaging
• Proof of purchase
LifeGear Center reserves the right to decline claims where sufficient evidence is not provided.
8. Return Authorization
All returns must be approved before being sent back.
Customers must contact LifeGear Center before returning any product.
Unauthorized returns may be refused and returned to the sender.
9. Return Shipping Responsibility
Customers returning products must ensure items are:
• Properly packaged
• Shipped with tracking
LifeGear Center is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.
If a product is confirmed defective, return shipping may be covered where required by law.
10. Refund Processing
Once a returned product has been inspected and approved:
• Refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days
• Refunds will be issued using the original payment method where possible
Shipping costs are non-refundable unless required by law.
11. Direct Marketing Cooling-Off Period
Where purchases are made through direct marketing, customers may cancel the transaction within 5 business days as provided under South African consumer law.
Products must be returned in original condition and packaging.
Return shipping costs may apply.
12. Limitation of Liability
LifeGear Center shall not be liable for:
• Injuries resulting from misuse of fitness products
• Damage caused by exceeding product limits
• Improper use of gym equipment
• Failure to follow product instructions
All fitness products are used at the customer’s own risk.
13. Abuse of Return Policy
LifeGear Center reserves the right to:
• Refuse returns where policy abuse is suspected
• Refuse excessive or repeated return requests
• Cancel or restrict orders from customers who abuse return policies
This helps ensure fair service for all customers.
